Arrogance is a turn off : Part 1

(Part 1 from 1. Fiction.)

I wake up in the morning in my room. Sadly it's time for me to go to school. The only good thing about my school was that I was able to see my best friend. Her name was Janice. I looked in my mirror and see nothing special. I have the skater punk black hair, and brown eyes. I have a light blue streak in my hair and i have my eyebrow and tongue pierced. I also have a slim body and have almost no body hair. I like to dress in dark clothes and wear blue or red contacts. I am only 5 foot and 6 inches.

Even though my family is poor I still save my money I get from my job so I could at least get a few nice things. Oh yeah and by the way my name is Enrique. It's a typical Mexican name but, I still like it. I am an only child and i am glad. I brush my teeth and go to school at 7:30 but, it actually starts at 8:15. I go early so i can wait for Janice. The train ride takes like a half hour and I end up at school at 8:05. I'm standing in the hallway waiting for Janice and that's when HE walks by.

It was the rich school jock. He was 6 foot and 2 inches and had blonde hair. I could tell he had a nice chest because of the way his shirt always looked. I have to admit that i thought he was sexy but, there was something about that was a huge turn off. He was full of arrogance. He always thought he was the center of attention. He liked to intimidate people into doing things for him like his homework. He liked to make fun of me alot just because i was poor. His name was Adam.

"Well if it isn't Enrique," he said, when he looked at my direction.
"What do you want?" I asked, not wanting to waste my time talking to him.
"I just wanted to tell you something," he said, with a smile on his face.

"Well what is it?" I asked, impatiently just wanting him to leave me alone.
"Nothing. Never mind." he said, and walked away quickly.

I was confused and then i turned around and saw Janice walking towards me.
"Was that asshole bothering you again?" she asked, looking at me with a serious face.

"No, he was actually going to tell me something but, when he saw you he just walked away," I said, not thinking much of it.

I always loved having a friend like Janice. She was always there for me and I was always there for her. We are both 18 and seniors. We met in freshman year in our chemistry class. We took the regents in 8th garde so we had chemistry in 9th grade. Janice was a really cool person and almost knew every one. She was a popular person and i was more like a social out cast.

Besides Janice I only had three other friends. People wonder how I am friends with Janice because she was cool and I was a very quiet person. Sometimes she would tell me that her friends ask her how we are friends. The reason is that i feel comfortable around her and if people saw me act like how I act with her they are going to say "Who the hell is he?"

When me and Janice start walking to class we see Adam again with his idiot friends. He ends up pushing a lot of people out if his way. I rolled my eyes knowing that he had nothing better to do.

"He look, its the homo with the blue hair," said one of his idiot friends.
"Fuck off dumbass!" I said, louder than I intended to say.

"What the fuck did you just say?" he said glaring at me.
"Do your ears work? He said to fuck off," said Janice.
"She won't always be able to protect you," said the dumbass giving us a nasty look.

I can feel Adam's eyes on me the whole time. I still felt them when I walked away. He wasn't being a dick like he usually was. I was starting to think that he was starting to change. What was I thinking? Off course he wouldn't change. Sure he was the sexiest guy I have ever seen, with those beautiful blue eyes and nice blonde hair but, his arrogance was nothing but a turn off.
