Wow! What a grip on the theme called "Love". Although it has been explored by countless others, that I have read in 4 different languages, I felt like I was reading a love-story for the first time.
Yes, I read them all in one sitting! Your style of writing has that effect on the reader, similar to what you portay in Brandon's longing for the love of Chris. Can't give up. Like a boomrang, Brandon's desireful mind (and body) returns back to his unrealised love for Cris.
Chris is, but fully aware that his B's love is ripening beneath his denial. From the carefree youthful character is born a real deep and mature grasp on what is meant to truely love someone and protect your beloved, not just physically, but at the deepest level emotionally. Chris has allowed B to mature progressively. Being able to read thoughts of one's lover is the ultimate test of true love!
Jason is your suspense character. Only a means to the end, which is to have Brandon realize that underlying all physical attractions he has for others, one and only one has the support he needs to even be attracted to all of them. His attractions are defined by this support - Love from his Chris!
I would not be surprised if Jason had seen Chris and his B fast asleep in Brandon's beddroom the first day he came over to Brandon's house. Perhaps the talk Chris had with him in the library was on their plan to make B realize the true love he had for Chris. Perhaps Jason is Billy's lover and knew about Brandon from the day he asked for the pen, with Billy looking from behind Brandon's shoulder in agreement... Or, perhaps he ends up with Scotty in Detention 9. Who knows!
You have too many possibilities you can work on, in order to keep the feeling of love beating in your readers' hearts! And, you're tight at it! ;)
Anything you write next would be readable, and well-received! ;)
