Here I am walking towards the football stadium at my school for Thomas' game.
I truly didn't want to be here especially with James, but I did promise I
wouldn't bring James. However, I did have a backup plan, my friend Jerry was
coming with me. I met him at the gate to the stadium. He was excited, but I
wasn't. I felt like being at home cuddling with my new boyfriend.
"Hey Zack why aren't you excited like everyone else?" Jerry asked snapping me
out of my dream state.
"Oh I am in my own way I guess." I said with a smile trying to throw him off
how I really felt.
"There no need to be sad for Sarah..." He started but I quickly cut him
off."I don't GIVE A FUCK ABOUT HER!" I yelled pushing past him and walking up
the stairs.
He followed me not saying a word which made me feel bad. I didn't mean to
come off so hard on him, but that slut Sarah got everything I want or wanted,
Thomas, a baby, and a family you can call your own. I put on my best smile for
everyone around me.
The game started, and I leaned on Jerry looking up toward the sky. I didn't
feel like watching the game; I was only here because Thomas asked. Jerry noticed
but didn't dare say anything. Everyone cheered, cheered so loudly which kind of
pissed me off. I don't know why but I was getting moody knowing Thomas around.
I looked at my phone constantly anything that would distracted me from the
game. It was working so far because it was half time. I made the mistake of
looking at the half time show which was the cheerleaders doing some stupid dance
to Kesha. I instantly remembered last homecoming:
I had just recently started coming to this school, I had just met and
befriended Thomas, and I had just became a new person. No more the geeky new
student. I remember Thomas and I was in on the track field during lunch and he
was telling about his game tonight. I didn't want to go and Thomas had the
saddest face when I told him. Then he grabbed my hands, stood in front of me,
and gave me his sexy grin begging me to come. I gave in since I was falling for
him like a teenage girl in any teen drama movie.
I was so eager to please him that I came early which he noticed and waved to
me. I was happy he was excited to see me. The game started and I was just like
everyone else in the stands cheer, shouting, and stomping my feet and I didn't
even know why the fuck I was cheering. I am kind of sport retarded meaning I
don't know shit about sports, but like I said I was eager to please him.
I was having a great time until the half time show. Sarah was having the
cheer squad doing some slutty dance to a slow song. She called Thomas over and
started rubbing her body over his. I was getting extremely pissed not because of
her, but at the fact he was enjoying himself. Sarah instantly cut the song and
all the cheerleaders ran back to the stands. Thomas stood there with a boner and
a huge grin. I got so mad I left and I should've knew then we wouldn't work.
I was snapped out of memory lane by that dumb bitch Sarah who stood in front
of us. I looked toward her and was shocked to see this big 7' dark black guy.
"Hey bitch I bet your glad I dumped that silly Thomas today. Huh?" She said
in my face.
"What are you talking about." I was puzzled.
"Oh you don't know I dumped him today, and look he invited you here to be his
back up plan. Is that cute?" She spoke at the black guy.
"You know what I don't to fight with you. I don't give a damn about him. I am
just being nice, but guess what I was just about to leave." I said pissed off,
but not trying to show it. She didn't deserve the satifaction.
I was walking back toward my car, but this stupid bitch had to have the last
word.
"Oh I am sorry Thomas, but that dumb cum dumpster you being fucking is
leaving now." She yelled in her microphone which caused everyone to look at me.
I got so pissed off that I took off my 6in high heel boots and ran towards
her. I knocked her down by smacking the side of my boot into her face. I just
started hit her then she grabbed my leg making me fall and she got on top of me
hitting me. I pushed her back and kicked her in the face. Just when I did 2 guys
came up and held me back while that black guy was holding her back.
I gave up and turnt around leaving. I stopped dead in my tracks when I heard
Thomas' voice through the speakers.
"Look Zack I didn't want you to here this from Sarah, but it whatever. Me and
her broke up today, but you know what I am not mad. I finally understand what
you been telling me. I realize that I love you and want to spend the rest of my
life with you. No more hiding behind the closet. I am ready to tell the world
that I love you and I know I hurt you bad, but please give me another chance."
Thomas said trying his best not to get emotionally.
A spot light shined on me and I made my way toward the field, running with
tears in my eyes. Thomas got on his knees and looked in my face and asked,"I
promise from here on to be the best boyfriend I can until your ready to marry me
or leave me." I was happy and shocked at the same time. I couldn't believe he
was giving me a promise, but I loved how much he was willing to prove his love
to me.
I looked towards Sarah who gave me the most evil look anyone could give. I
smiled at her grabbed his microphone and said yes. He got up and hugged me while
I gave Sarah the finger.
I went back to my sit because the game had to continue. Sarah had left and I
was the happiest I have been in years. When I got back to my sit, Jerry
said,"You finally got what you always wanted, a real man. He no longer the
little boy he use to be." I couldn't do anything but smile at him.
