Fire in the Firehouse 8

(Part 1 from 4. Fiction.)

(From Part 7)

[Taking it back a little to help segue into part 8]

...They cuddled as close as they could. Mitch held Colby tightly against his chest, back resting against the tub. They were spent, but relaxed and so highly in tune with one another. Their minds raced, individually replaying what had just transpired. Mitch reached over for one of Colby's surprises. He'd managed to make some fresh Starbucks coffee at home, hid it in the bathroom. Colby knew about the coffee, but was clueless to the brand. Mitch knew the caffeine would help them liven up for their next go around. He'd gotten some stunning plastic cups, a crystal blue color. They repositioned themselves, took their cups and with the light the candles were making which set the tone, they locked arms, stared in one another's eyes and offered their drinks to one another. They'd not just fucked, they'd made love and now were embracing romance. Something many would say was dead in the world.

Colby smiled at Mitch and then said, "Soon as this coffee kicks in and we wash the stickiness off, I think I'll be ready for dessert, or should I say be dessert? My mouth is watering for some of that ice cream and its starting to water for you, too."

Mitch smiled and responded, "I know the feeling baby, I feel the same as you. And what you've seen is only half the fun." A devilish smile brushed over his face. You'll just have to wait and see." He left it there, words hanging, filled with mystery and sexual tension.

After a short bath, the two muscular studs got out of the tub and headed over to dry off. Colby attempted to pry some clue out of Mitch. "Come on babe. Just a little clue. You've got to give me something. Anything."

"No, I don't," Mitch grimaced. "Besides, you've waited this long, what's a few more minutes? Why ruin the surprise now? I adore you, but sometimes you're such a kid." The way it was said wasn't meant to be insulting. It was said in humor and it was taken as such.

The two men took turns drying each other off, but were quick to do so. The passion and fire they shared for one another, it'd not be long before they began going at it right then and there. They were so in tune with one another, it was almost inevitable they'd take matters further if the soft movements in the erogenous zones and basically most anywhere went any longer.

Mitch said not a word, softly, yet masculinely firm, he grabbed his lover's hand to lead him out to their room. The sight was still something to see. The candles, the scent, the silk sheets. Its was masculine and romantic at the same time.

Mitch then took Colby by surprise. He reached down, both muscular arms pressed against his lover's defined legs, at the bend in the knees he scooped his lover into his arms, only to swiftly lay him down on the satin sheets. The soft, cool material felt invigorating against his warm skin. It sent sexual chills throughout his sculpted body. Colby took into account how it felt on his exposed flesh. He began rubbing his arms, legs back, any exposed parts of his bare body all over. The feel of the cool sheets was heaven.

Mitch climbed up on the bed and laid right next to his lover. The mood from the candles, the special music, the masculinely smooth scent was toxic to them. Toxic in the sense it put them both in the mood for love. They were acutely in tune with the mood in the room and their primal want for another.

Mitch's body was wracked with a dull ache. One that could only be described as the need to desperately be with a special person so badly. The mood from the music, the candles and the rest of the specially added pieces made the room come alive.

"Colby, I love you so much my body aches for you. I feel like I'm infected, infected with love for you. My body is numb. I'm dizzy, I'm slightly disoriented. My stomach in knots. I can't seem to love you enough. I want to give you everything I can. If I could place you inside my body, you'd still not be close enough to me." Colby lay there speechless. His body trembling hearing these words.

"Mitch, words fail me." He Paused. "I love you with everything I am. My body is numb with desire, this overwhelming craving for you. My bones ache, my blood on fire for you. I can't love you anymore than I do. You're amazing. Our love's amazing. I've never felt this way, for anyone. I wake at night and I think of you, even though you're lying next to me. When we work separate shifts, I go insane. I do anything and everything to busy myself. I'm crazy for and about you." Mitch was shaken. Each time they confessed their feelings, they drew closer on a new level. It was quite magical.

Mitch had been thinking about something for a while now and since it seemed the mood was right, he decided to go for it. "I have something to share with you. Part pointing out facts, part idea for us both to think on. We're both madly in love. Thing is, God bless our great country, but in reality, people of this country are dead set against two people of equal sex marrying. I am Catholic as you well know. But Catholics, too, are against the marriage of two men. There's a part of me you don't know."

Colby listened. He'd have been lying if asked if he didn't say he was a bit apprehensive. Fearful Mitch was going to come out of left field as it were, with some shocking revelation. Like he'd been married, was married, had children-not that was a bad idea. But there were so variables running through his mind. He was fearful it would be something that would destroy what they had built.

Mitch saw his lover's face change. He could see it in his eyes that he was worried, fearful, and genuinely concerned. Putting himself in that situation he could imagine feeling the same way. He decided he'd kept his boyfriend in suspense long enough. "What I'm saying, I'm a witch. Not like on TV, but a witch just the same. My family is both Catholic and Wiccan."

The blood drained from Colby's face. It felt like a blast of Arctic air tore across his body. His hardened cock responded as well. It softened some. His mind filled with questions and some fear. He almost laughed for a moment, but when his gaze caught that of his lover's, he could see the sincerity written across his face.

Mitch was hopeful he could still win Colby over. He continued describing more about his family's line. "And one of the things that comes along with that, there's a ritual known as handfasting. Its a commitment ceremony that's alternative and its very hands on and can be rather romantic, too."

Colby remained numb, all emotions drained from his heart. He didn't know what to think or feel and he wasn't really paying too much attention to what the other was trying to say. Why now? Why in the middle of this beautiful moment did Mitch have to drop this bomb? His mind was like an over flowing dam. The thoughts spilling into every corner of his mind. To himself he thought on this. A witch. Is Mitch batty, insane? What is this all about? No one just claims to be a witch. That was, after all, kid stuff. Or stuff seen on TV and in movies. Wasn't it? His facial expression gave away more than he'd hoped for.

"Colby, let me explain this better. I am Wiccan, thereby a witch. I come from a long line of powerful beings. I've just opted not to join the coven. I'm more comfortable going to Mass on Sundays. However, my being a witch also allows for me to partake in a special ritual known as handfasting. Its a ceremony that basically unites two people. Even two people of the same sex. Basically its a way we can marry one another.....assuming you'll have me." In one fell swoop, the brown haired Romeo reached over and pulled out a dark blue box with the most stunning men's diamond ring, propped himself up on one knee on the bed. "Colby my love, my world, my reason for believing in love will you make me the happiest gay man on Earth and become my life partner and husband? I seek not to have you as long term, but for all of our lifetime. I need not want another person in my life. I want to share my life with you all our days on Earth." His words were rehearsed, it was a given, but they were bursting with realness and came straight from the heart.

Colby was stunned. He was trying to wrap his mind around everything that Mitch had thrown at him. Everything was coming at him a dizzying pace. He just learned a deep secret about his lover. Something he'd heard of, albeit briefly. But now here he was learning something he thought was only on TV or movies. He had a slight inkling about witches, but paid no attention to it. "Does this mean you can cast spells and do magic?" He asked out of fear and wanting to know more.
