Officer Campbell pulled off the freeway and eventually we turned down a dark dirt road. We approached a dimly lit building that looked like a service station of sorts. He opened the door, grabbed me and took me inside. There was a table with another police officer sitting and smoking. He was big, mean looking, probably forty or so, a good 6'3" with a menacing glare. "This punk was speeding without a license, Captain!" "Really? What is your name, shithead?" I blurted out "Rob, Sir, please I will pay whatever fines I need to." "You will pay fines all right but not by check." He got on the phone and called another officer.

"I have a live one here in Station one, Campbell will be bringing him in shortly..............Yes, that is correct, have everything ready." He hung up. The captain walked around and slapped my face hard, then grabbed my head and tilted it backward. "You will be punished for your crime and I will be there to supervise.!" "Get this fucker down to the Compound, Sergeant Rizzo will see him."
