Posted by SevenbySix Jack, you have done it again. This is really one of the very best series of stories on this site. You have taken us from the highs of your love with Mike to the lows of losing Hans, and then the anticipation of college, and the trip to France. Can't wait for the next chapter.
Posted by Je Again, you did an excellent job in writing this chapter. I just can't help but notice this part: "Why was he disappearing from my sight like that? Why was the night so dark? Where were all the stars that usually light up the sky? Why was he walking alone on that road? Suddenly, I had a bad premonition. Why was I feeling the way I was? Something was going to go wrong. But what? Why? For a few seconds, I remained still. Mike had totally vanished into darkness… Much later, I would remember that bad premonition" It gave me the goosebumps. I hope i'm just reading too much into the foreshadowing, and everything ends up all right for mike and you. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the story.
Posted by Jac Hi Jack, Just finished reading the chapter and I LOVE and certainly ENJOYED it. I surely felt all the main events of the chapter from your love making with Mike, loss of a family member, reunion, the big decision to study in martinique to be with your love one, and of course to the generousity of Paul to you and Mike. They all moved me. I also felt exactly, probably, the way you felt about the event when you see Mike disappearing from ur sight and that night was so dark. You're really great Jack. The story is full of memorable events. And I guess life should be spent that way. Thanks again for the wonderful chapter. It must have been very difficult and time consuming writing this chapter and the rest of the story and you seemed dont get tired. All the best and we'll wait for the next chapter. Now I need to read my uni assignment :).

Posted by Mike Oh WOW! Excellent part of the story Jack - you really are getting better and better with this. So glad you agreed to keep the writing going, and I know it is going to get sad in the next part and epilogue - but we are all here for you and with you. Take your time.

Posted by alex-sp I like a lot this part, I look forward to reading the next one.
Posted by alex-sp By the way, Jack, you can't be signing songs but SINGING songs. Well, actually, composers sign songs in a way. ;)
Posted by bill Jack, you are amazing! I guess Paul was right... what an amazing memory! I'm looking forward to the trip in Paris... I hope you get to the lake house! No wonder you wrote the story with such vivid details... you've seen it all. I love it. Keep it up man. Thanks for sharing your good times and your bad.
