The Long Mile Shot VII - The Pact

(Part 1 from 1. Fiction.)

“You’re late you two!” Jake could recognize it was Kyle’s voice.

“Fuck! You didn’t have to use the water you fucking asshole!” Sean yelled under Jake’s protective grip.

“There are two of you. I had to do something. You did it to me when Stacy stayed over.” Kyle said and walked out of Sean’s room, leaving Jake still utterly confused.

“Jake let go, its fine.” Sean said as he tried getting out of Jake’s arms.

“What the fuck was that for?” Jake asked as he wiped the water from his face.

“I forgot to set my alarm.” Sean got up and started drying of with his bed comforter, “It’s a thing we do if we wake up late.” Jake looked over at the clock and it was only 2:15 AM and his jaw dropped. Sean looked over and saw Jake’s expression and started laughing and then explained what was going on.

Every year since Sean was three, the McCormack family would wake around two in the morning to make it to the after thanksgiving Black Friday sales. They would meet some of their relatives and would get an early start on Christmas shopping. As for the mattress and the water, Sean’s dad Tom came up with it one year when Kyle didn't wake up.

The family turned it into a tradition, that if you didn't wake up before 2:10 AM you would get thrown from your mattress. But if you wanted to wait longer, you got to dump ice could water on the late person if they slept till 2:15. Different members of the family would usually sneak into another’s room and unplug their alarm so they would wake up late. This year however, Sean forgot to set his alarm because of the events Jake and he had the night before.

“So it’s actually really your fault babe.” Sean said as he kissed Jake while they finished a quick breakfast of cereal.

"Yea well what are ya going to do eh?” Jake said as he kissed Tiffany’s bracelet.

Sean’s parents and Kyle drove in Tom’s Tahoe and Sean and Jake followed in Sean’s new truck. Sean’s mother Glenna gave Sean and Jake a list of items to look for and a schedule of what stores they were going to.

“Bestbuy, Nordstrom, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Orchards, Lowes, One Way, Teddy bear Factory, Circuit City, Express, Mervyns.” Jake stopped reading the list. “Fuck Sean, the store doesn’t even open till five, it’s not even three.” Jake and Sean were standing in line at Bestbuy as Sean’s parents were waiting in line at Macy’s.

“You can go sleep in the truck if you want.” Sean said as he zipped his snow boarding jacket up higher.

“I’m not leaving you,” Jake pulled Sean closer, “Especially how cute you look with all the fir around your face, all bundled up dancing around trying to keep warm.”

“Hey I didn’t have to tell you to bring your snow jacket yesterday jackass.” Sean punched Jake but knew Jake couldn’t feel it through his heavy goose down jacket and his bullet proof vest. A woman in front of them turned around and glared at the couple and snarled. Sean had his back to the women but Jake got what her face was attempting to portray. The woman turned around just as Sean did. Jake rested his head on his shorter boyfriends shoulder and whispered into his hear, “I don’t think that lady in front of us likes us.”

“Yea I noticed when we first got in line and you kissed me. It’s ok,” Sean started talking a little louder, “Some people still act like children!” The lady turned her head and saw Jake was lovingly holding Sean and snarled again. Sean and Jake just rolled their eyes and waited.

“This is perfect!” Sean said looking at a flat screen TV for his parents.

“This ones better.” Jake said pointing to an even larger TV.

“Me and my brother can’t afford that.” Jake glared at Sean’s response. “Sorry, my brother can’t afford it. It’s for my parents; come on, you can’t buy it.”

“We’ll go three ways. I have to get something for your parents anyways. And if you really think of it, you and your brother would by that one, “Jake pointed at the smaller TV, “and with me you can buy this one.”

“That works I guess.” Sean said and took a tag for the larger TV.

“Besides, I assume I have to pay for your share anyways right?” Jake took Sean’s wrist and twisted his bracelet. Sean looked down on the ground and scuffed his shoe on the ground.

“Yea, I’m sorry.” Sean said quietly and slowly. Jake kissed Sean hand and caressed his arm.

“Am I going to have to take you shopping again?”

Sean lifted his head and had a huge smile. “Yea!”

“You bitch!” Jake hugged Sean and kissed him on the forehead. Just then the same lady from the line walked down the isle and saw the couple. Again she gave them a pathetic look and snarled at them. Sean and Jake again rolled their eyes and walked to another vast line to pay. Coincidentally the same lady got in line behind them but this time she was with another man that seemed to be her husband.

The entire time they were in line the older couple continued making hushed comments towards the younger couple. Jake and Sean took no head to them and continued talking about the up coming day. Jake was pulling his Centurion card out just when the older man bumped into him with a cart causing Jake to drop his credit card. The older, heavily aged looking man picked up Jake’s card.

“People like you should be more carful when you’re not around your kind,” He paused and squeezed Jake’s credit card trying to break it, “bad things could happen.” He continued to try and break the credit card squeezing his fist as hard as he could.

Jake grabbed his wrist and squeezed tightly along a known pressure point to make the older man release his card along with deliver a moderate amount of pain. Jake picked up his credit card as the older man swung his hurt wrist.

“Centurion American Express card made out of anodized titanium, so people like you who don’t live in the modern world can’t try and break it.” Jake replied and handed the cashier the heavy credit card.

“You just assaulted an officer kid.” The man said.

“You’re off duty so you’re just a civilian now. And it’s a federal offense to intentionally break this credit card. Unless you want to try and explain how a FAG assaulted you by touching your wrist, I suggest you continue your bickering life.”

Neither the officer nor his wife said a word and Jake and Sean continued to pick up the TV and take all the others items they bought to Sean’s truck. The young couple continued there shopping day and spoke nothing of the early morning event.

“Jake, can I ask you a favor?”

“Sean, I don’t think I can go again, three times a day is my limit, I got nothing else to give you.” Jake breathed hard as he felt Sean’s head resting on his chest.

“Not that, three’s all I can take in a day,” Sean said almost out of breath from another of Jake’s sexual escapades, “I think we should only go twice a day. Working all day, working even harder at lunch, and still working when we go to bed. I can’t handle it.”

“Ok that’s fine with me. But we’re not giving up sex at lunch. There’s just something about you riding me in a dirt field, or you forcing me over the disc and pushing my body against the metal, “Jake paused and pulled Sean’s body all the way on top of his own, “It’s just so sexually exhilarating.”

Sean laughed and then sighed, “That was pretty good today. We need to get rope instead of chains though, my arms still hurt,” Sean paused, “Or maybe not, I kind of like how the chains sound when you pound against me when I’m chained across the caterpillar track.”

Jake sighed from the erotic moment Sean was talking about. For two weeks now Sean and Jake had been clearing hundreds of acres of land on the Carpenter ranch so that they could build a professional race track and dirt track. Mr. Carpenter had always wanted his own private race track but never had enough property to build one and Jake wanted a formal dirt track so he and his friends could ride dirt bikes or quads on it.

Because the construction company who was building the track could not start until mid January, Jake and Sean got started clearing the land and prepping it so the actual construction wouldn’t take as long. It was also a learning experience Jake insisted. He really just wanted to drive heavy machinery and tractors. Jake and Sean made their dirt track next to the intended race track that was ¾ of a mile away from the house and since the construction equipment was already there, they intended to use it for themselves.

Every day Jake and Sean would level the site with an army of different tractors and construction machinery and were left on their own to figure out how to work everything. Every morning the project engineer would fax over a list of things the two boys had to do and what equipment they needed. Both learned quickly how to operate all the tractors and equipment and learned even quicker heavy machinery and sex was a great mix.

The first day when the two broke for lunch, Jake bent Sean over a tire of a tractor and ravished his lover’s rectum. The second day Sean had his revenge by chaining Jake’s hands together and attaching him to a tractor hitch so he couldn’t move and returned the pleasurable punishment Jake gave him the day before. The third day, Sean rode Jake’s massive cock as they both lay in the freshly disked field.

The fourth day Sean chained Jake’s arms and legs across the front push blade of a D 10 caterpillar bulldozer. Every day was a game of who could find the most sexually erotic position with chains, heavy machinery, and on one occasion, a large puddle of mud fully at their disposal.

“So was that the favor you wanted to ask? You want to slow down on the sex?” Jake asked bringing both boys back to their original conversation.

“No, that was just a thought that I don’t think either of us are going to act on anyways,” Both laughed, “I was wondering if I could stay here for Christmas.” Jake lifted his boyfriend’s head up and stared at him confused.

“Of course babe. Why, if you don’t mind me asking? I thought you were going to your aunts with your family?” Jake asked concerned.

Sean kissed Jakes chest and showed a sad face when he spoke again, “We were supposed to but her house got messed up because a water line broke and flooded upstairs when they were gone. Now there’s mold and stuff so were going to my dad’s parents.”

Jake remembered Tom’s parents were the least accepting of Sean’s sexuality and hadn’t spoken a word to Sean in over two years. (The WWII grandpa Jake talked to is Glenna’s father.)

“They didn’t say I couldn’t come straightforward, but they made it clear I’m not wanted there.” Sean let out a small tear.

“I couldn’t be happier if you stayed over for Christmas,” Jake said as he wrapped himself around Sean’s body, “Don’t forget though we’re having a party here the 23rd.”

“Another? That’s five in the past month,” Sean said shaking his head back and forth, “I just got back my tuxes yesterday.”

“That’s because most people don’t spill red wine all over them,” Jake said, “Now go to sleep, I just got an idea for lunch tomorrow, it involves the crane and a cage.”

“Haven’t seen you in awhile Billie.” Jake said slowly making sure he was heard over the crowd of people at the winter carnival.

“Got a little hung up at home for awhile. Some fag opened his mouth a little too much.” Billie said with four of his friends standing around him.

“Yea, I heard about that little incident. Littering on private property right?” Jake said as he took Sean’s hand.

“Fucking faggot!” Billie yelled only two feet away from Jake and Sean, “I should have killed this little fucker when I had the chance.” Billie pointed at Sean. Sean felt a spiky surge run through his spine: a feeling of the most outstanding fear possibly imaginable for any type of animal.

Hearing Billie say that, Jake instantly pulled Sean close. Billie continued breathing hard; knowing only the knife in his hand was keeping Jake from attacking him.

“If you ever threaten Sean again, I will kill you,” Jake said calmly and slowly feeling his body temperature rise, “They’ll never find your mangled acid washed body no matter how hard anyone looks.” Billie took a step back swearing Jake’s eyes changed colors while he talked. Billie was the typical thug type of teenager; he made his threats publically known and nothing or nobody scared him. Except Jake, Jake was the only person that put the fear of god into Billie’s soul.

“You don’t have a gun this time.” Billie said waving the large knife towards Jake.

Billie’s friends formed a circle around the hostile two so no onlookers could see what events were unfolding. Jake slowly reached behind his back and gripped his Walther P99QA .40 S&W he had concealed in the back pouch of his body armor.

“Want to bet on that?” Jake warned with a lightened voice. Nobody in the group moved knowing Jake more then likely wasn’t lying about his intended actions. “This is what’s going to happen,” Jake explained slowly, “You’re going to walk off slowly in one direction, and we’re going to walk off slowly in the other direction. You know who I am, you know what I’m capable of, don’t cross me again. I could have shot every one of you that night and you all know it.”

Jake looked around at Billie’s friends who had an extremely frightened look in their eyes. Just then a Sheriff came walking up next to the group and pushed his way into the middle just after Billie pulled back his knife. Jake and Sean quickly realized it was the same man who tried breaking Jake’s credit card when they were shopping after thanksgiving.

“What’s going on over here nephew? You catch these cock suckers in the act again?” Said Officer Jacob Daniels, according to his badge.

“Just a little friendly conversation officer.” Jake said as he pulled his hand off his pistol.

“I wasn’t talking to you faggots.” Officer Daniels snapped back.

“It’s nothing uncle. It’s nothing,” Billie muttered. Officer Daniels looked at both groups and spit out a large piece of Sour Apple dip on the grass.

“It better be nothing. I wouldn’t want to put our most prestigious couple of the city in jail,” Officer Daniels bore holes through Jake and Sean, “You never know what type of things people might do in the confines of a cell.” Again Sean felt a rush run up his spine and again had a deep fearful feeling for his life.

Jake felt Sean’s body tremble and held him even tighter. Officer Daniels left, soon followed by Billie and his friends leaving Jake and Sean standing alone on the side of a large building that housed an agricultural machinery display. Sean let out a deep breath of relief and felt his knees give out. He almost fell to the ground but Jake caught him and slowly sat him on the ground.

“It’s ok Sean, there gone, it’s just me. I’m here.” Jake consoled his frightened, younger, boyfriend.

“Can we go home, I’m sorry but I just need to get out of hear?” Sean started letting tears run down his face. Jake lifted Sean to his feet and helped him through the crowded carnival to his hummer and drove home, only letting go of Sean’s hand twice when they got in and out of the truck.

All Jake could do was hold Sean closely and whisper into his ear telling him everything was going to be ok. Sean continued to cry from sheer fear of knowing what could have happened to him if he never met Jake. Sean could see images of his life flashing through his head, most of them moments he was in danger or being tormented by somebody in his past.

“I’m sorry.” Sean mumbled between cries. His face was completely red and was covered in dried tears.

“You have nothing to be sorry for. I love you and that’s all that matters. Don’t think of anything else but us. It’s only the two of us, that’s it, nothing else is here.” Jake ran his finger through Sean’s hair.

“Jake get a gun, I need to know you’ll be safe.” Sean said as his tears slowly ran out.

Jake got off the bed slowly and ran into his armory and came back holding a MG43 machine gun in his right hand and a MP5A5 sub-machine gun with an attached 40mm grenade launcher in his left had. Jake also had two 200 round 5.56 mm disintegrating link belts around his shoulders, and a bag of 40mm grenades and ten thirty round 9mm clips in a black duffle bag. Sean couldn’t help but laugh as Jake loaded all the weapons on the foot of the bed while explaining what would happen if anybody tried getting close to them.

“I was just talking about a pistol maybe.” Sean chuckled as Jake got back into bed.

“Well your feeling better now, so I think these are better.” Jake pulled Sean into bed and held him tight, spooning over Sean’s back as they drifted asleep.

“Jake, I need a favor from you.” Jeremy the Carpenter’s head of security for their global company asked.

“Kill people in Iraq?” Jake eyes widened in excitement.

“No, you would make the army look bad,” Jeremy laughed and continued, “I need you to convince your parents to let me put in more security around the house. Just last night somebody fire bombed the front gates.”

“It was a Molotov cocktail, not a fire bomb; we’re not at war here.” Jake responded.

The night before when Jake was sleeping closely to Sean, a truck raced up to the Carpenters front gate and somebody through four Molotov cocktails at the gate, injuring the single night guard who was in the security booth next to the decorative iron gates.

“Yes we are at war though. And your parents are very important in that war you know that. Not to mention you’re close to the border, anybody could just walk through a field and walk in the back door.” Jeremy paused a moment and watched Sean pass by, going into the kitchen. “How are you and Sean doing?”

“Were doing okay. He got a little rattled last night when we came across the guy who beat him. And then his piece of shit sheriff uncle came and that didn’t help either.” Jake clenched his fists and pounded on the desk.

“Have you been carrying a gun like I told you?” Jeremy asked.

“Yea, since before thanksgiving, one compact on my back, two sub-compacts on my legs, and two knives on the front of my vest.”

Jeremy shook his head and laughed a moment, “That’s a little excessive but at least I know you’re at least armed. You need to watch out for that sheriff, he’s on so many watch lists you don’t even know.”

“Oh I know. But if he threatens Sean again, I’m gunning his ass down.” Jake said clenching his teeth.

“I know you will. But Jake, will you convince your parents though. You only have a few guards for this entire place.”

“What are you going to bring in? And you know my mom won’t want our house too look like a fortress.” Jake said.

“I know. First off, we’d replace the front gate and heavily reinforce it but still have it look decorative, put hidden gun turrets around the perimeter, motion sensors in a five mile diameter around the estate, two assault helicopters, armored cars, two strike teams, one sniper team, and a command post and barracks by the hangar.” Jeremy handed Jake the plans for the new security measures.

“I’ll try, but no stealth bombers?” Joked Jake. Jeremy got up and patted Jake on the shoulder and left to prepare for the upcoming Christmas party at the house.

Jake and Sean got ready for the party and finally Sean was able to finish his tie by himself. The night went on as usual and both finally went to bed exhausted and fell asleep with no sex for a second night in a row. Christmas morning came and Sean gave Jake the glass figurine from the thanksgiving auction and Jake was ecstatic. Jake got Sean a marble chess set that he had always wanted. All the gifts were fairly inexpensive and were all deep from the heart.

Sean parents called around ten in the morning and were yelling and thanking Sean and Jake for the TV. The kids sent a picture and letter saying they got the TV and it would be ready when they got home from Grandpas. Sean and the Carpenter family went to New York for New Years and of course Jake gave Sean a long and heated first kiss of the New Year. Again that night the young couple didn’t have sex, or any other night after that for some time. Neither could explain it but they just had no drive to have sex after the night at the carnival. Sean was always with Jake and would still always sleep together but nobody made a move past simple kissing.

- Late January

“Hey babe, I’ll be back home tomorrow afternoon, I have to go to Dallas for a couple days for my parents. It’s something about needing to get into a safety deposit box.” Jake told Sean after getting a phone call after school.

“What about school though?” Sean asked since it was only a Tuesday.

“My parents called the school already and said it was a family emergency.” Jake explained. “Besides, people ditch school all the time anyways.”

Sean walked to the fridge to get something to drink. “Okay, so what am I supposed to do since your gone then? Just hang out in this house by myself?” Sean responded twirling around with his hands in the air.

“Well why don’t you sleep at your house for once then?” Jake said pinching on Sean’s soft chin.

“My parents turned my room into a theatre room, remember? That’s what I get for getting them that big TV for Christmas.” Sean said while rolling his eyes.

Sean’s parents knew he stayed at Jake’s house almost every night and thought they might as well do something with his room that he never used anymore. So the week after Christmas Sean’s parents re-did Sean’s room and made it into a small guest room and installed their new TV since it would not fit in their living room. This was almost a month ago now. Sean was okay with this because his parents were away on work most of the time and he did indeed spend every night at the Carpenter house and would only stop by to see his parents for dinner when they were around.

“Or, you should have Collin over tonight. He’s been kind of gloomy lately. Is he okay? He’s not as.” Jake started but Sean finished, “Hyper lately?”

“Yea, he’s not as hyper, he’s almost down to a normal person’s level, and it’s weird.” Jake explained secretly knowing the reason why Collin had lost his spark.

“Yea I was talking to him at school today, he was worse today then usual. I’ll tell him to come by and we can hang out. He needs a change from playing video games all day.” Sean responded also secretly knowing why Collin had lost his spark.

Both Sean and Jake knew the real reason why Collin was not himself anymore. Though Sean was told by Collin, and that he must promise to not tell Jake. Jake on the other hand was told by Collin’s boyfriend Danny, who also made Jake swear not to tell Sean.

-March

“So let me get this straight then? We both have not been having sex with each other, because we both made a pact with out best friends to not have sex until they could?” Jake asked clenching his fists towards Sean.

“Yep, it’s seems like that’s what we did.” Sean responded sucking on his lip and shaking his head up and down. “But it was for a good reason right?”

Jake shook his head in annoyance. “Mine was a good reason, Danny was scared and actually hurt, and Collin on the other hand was what?” Jake threw his hands up in question. “Too horny to hold out for his boyfriend to get better? That is low Sean and you know it.”

“Well obviously you know how frustrating it is to not have sex with your boyfriend! We haven’t had sex in over two months. It’s March! We didn't even have sex on Valentines Day!” Sean yelled back.

“I swear to god Sean,” Jake explained slowly, “We have the most messed up group in the entire world.” Jake said as he sat down next to Sean on the couch. Just then they both got a text from their respective pact partners.

Collin had text Sean, “Was worth the wait. Thank you so much for keeping me from doing something I would regret. So the pact is off now. Have fun tonight!”

Danny’s text to Jake read, “Got fucked, Collin choked I came so much. T.O.T.A.L.L.Y. worth it!”

Both boys showed each other their phones and just shook their heads at their friends knowing that they did a good thing, but still hated each other for doing it.

“So,” Jake broke the silence, “Since we now aren’t in a pact anymore, we can technically.” Before Jake could finish Sean had already pushed Jake back into the couch and was straddling him, forcefully kissing him.

Jake knew the answer to his question and picked Sean up and carried him to his room, still making out with his lighter boyfriend. Neither Jake nor Sean noticed Jake's parents in the kitchen as they passed them. All Jake’s parents saw was Jake running for the stairs holding Sean from his ass with Sean’s arms wrapped around Jake's back while both were making out.

“So you knew about the pact they were in right?” Patrick asked Jake’s mother Lisa

“Yep.” Lisa said while nodding her head yes. “Take it we won’t see them for a couple days?

“Why do you think Danny went to his last checkup on a Friday?” Patrick responded. They both heard something fall from upstairs and a door slam shut.
