Ethan's World : Part 1

(Part 1 from 1. Fiction.)

My name is Ethan and this is my tale of growing up. Now I'm your normal 18 year old who has grown up in a very sheltered life. My family, you see, are very religious and aren't so open to alternative lifestyles. I knew I was gay since I was in grade school. Grew up trying my hardest to hide who I really am. It was hard especially having an older brother a grade above me and a sister a grade below me. I was the middle kid. My brother, Eric, was the oldest and the athlete of the family. Everyone rooted for him and in my dad's eyes, he was the golden son. Emily who was a year younger than me, was the most perfect daughter in the world. straight A's, Student council president, and great tennis player. She could do everything and never do any wrong. Then there is me. Your average teen. I'm not into sports and rarely try to participate in any school activity. I hung around the scene and artsy types of people. I was always hounded by my parents that my friends were up to no good and why can't I be like my siblings. Here is my tale.

*loud bang on the door* "Wake up for school or you'll be late hun" my mom yelled through the door. If sleeping was a class at school, I would pass it. After hearing her for the millionth time, I decided to actually attempt to get out of bed. I get up and try to find something to wear. I decided on a pair of sweats, a T-shirt, and my Invader Zim hoodie that my best friend gotten my for my birthday two weeks ago. It was your typical Monday morning, groggy, tired and wanting the day to be over, so I decided to just dress in bum status mode cause it's a cold fall day out. finally got fully dressed and walked down the stairs and went to go to the bus stop but before I could do any of that, my mom stopped me before I could escape her.

"Aren't you going to eat something for breakfast dear?" she asked.

"No mom, I really don't like pancakes. you know that." I replied.

"Well I can fix you something else if you like" She responded back with.

"No thanks, I rather just go wait at the bus stop." I said before she could say another word.

Waiting for the bus I realized how god awful cold it is. Sometimes I wish I had my license like any normal teen would. sadly, I haven't passed the permit test yet. So until I can get it right, I'm stuck waiting and riding the bus. It's not terribly bad. At least I get to see my crush every day that way. My crush is in the same class as my sister, a junior. He is the most perfect looking person my eyes has ever llaid on. Every time I see Zeke, I get a major rush and want to get lost in his eyes. I remember countless summer school sessions when he was in class wearing a tank top and basketball shorts that I would ask to go to the bathroom and beat one out. While dreaming bout him, the bus finally came.

Zeke is usually already on the bus by time I get on but today he wasn't which made me super bummed. The next stop my best friend gets on and I scoot over to make room for him.

"How was the weekend with parents from hell" Alex asked. Alex and I have been best friends since our mom's knew they was pregnant with us. People at school call us fetus twins cause we been inseparable since birth. Now Alex and I have both been curios bout our bodies since we hit puberty four years ago. We experimented with each other a few times but other then that, we're like any other bff's.

"The usually. Mom and dad are thinking bout getting a new car and when I'm able to drive, I get theirs." I replied to his question.

"Are you kidding? Eric get a BMW, Emily got a VW Bug and you get their Mercedes? Least you got lucky this time."

"Yeah I know right." We finished up our morning conversation when the bus stopped at the school.

"Well see you during passing period" Alex said as he hoped off the bus. When our bus arrives, we got 15minutes to get everything and get around before the first bell. Our bus is the last to get here due to we live farther out. I go to my locker on the east end of the school to make the long hull to the west side. I get my Algebra 2 book, my Economics book and my english binder and shove it all into my backpack. I made my way to the west side with a minute to spare when I see Zeke coming my way.

More to Come!!! Comment and tell me how it is.
