It is obvious the author doesn't have much knowledge of aging and being gay. It only gets better with the years, and the choices become even greater. A "pity fuck"!!! Doesn't even make a good story line.

The author is expressing what many no longer 20 year old gay men wonder as they enter middle years. Insecurity is there and it feels good to show the young kids how it is done properly. That is good for the old ego.
