Liam's Story

Finally It's my last year of high school and I'm ready to face the world. Hi my name is Liam Short. I'm Half Greek Half Spanish (I know what a weird mix). I'm 5'6 (I know SHORT), I'm not really tanned but I'm not pale. I have short black hair and I love it. I live in a small town that you know someone, that knows someone, that knows you. Ever since school I knew I was gay but I thought the community that I live in wouldn't really accept it so I kept it to myself.

First day of school and I wake up at 8:06am. Oh great (School started at 8:50am). I rush out of my bed and into the shower. I came out the shower at 8:23am and then went to brush my teeth. When I was brushing my teeth I heard the door knock. I know my Dad wouldn't hear it cause he was sleeping, my Mom went to work and My little brother left for school already. So I hurried up my teeth brushing.

I finished brushing my teeth at 8:31am the made my way downstairs to open the door in my towel which I was still in. When I opened the door It was my best friends Elijah, Ethan, and Leah. "And of COURSE Liam isn't ready" Ethan said. "What are you guys doing here?" I said in confusion. "Uhm Lee, We were all suppose to go to school together remember?" Said Leah. "Yeah Gemini (our pet names for each other cause we were both Gemini's), you forgot?" Elijah added. "Naw I didn't forget. Just give me two minutes." I said while rushing back upstairs in my towel.

Elijah was a 5'8 Half asian Half European Hunk. Short curly hair, green eyes. Wasn't the muscular type but he wasn't weak. My type of guy, but he's straight. oh well. Ethan Being Elijah's Twin Looked The Same but Ethan was really short and had no muscles. Ethan was 5'4 while Elijah was 5'7 (I know such a height difference. but having to look the same on the face. the height pays off).

Leah was my cousin from my mom's side. She been really close to me but hasn't been in my life until like 3 years ago. Leah wasn't short cause she was taller them me, but like an inch. She's 5'7. She had Boob length straight red hair and greenish brownish eyes, kind of like me.

After I finished changing I went back downstairs, went to the kitchen and grabbed me two box juices and hit the road at 8:43am. Our walk to school was really fun, we talked about how we think our new principal and new teachers would be and stuff like that. When we got to school I seen this REALLY cute boy (about 5'11, tanned, had muscles, really blue eyes, short black hair) My kind of guy.

As he walked past me I couldn't help taking a look back at his butt. I stared for like 15 seconds until Elijah woke me up out of my trance. "You dude, why were you checking out that guys ass?" Elijah said with a hint of humour in his voice. "Fuck off Gemini I just thought I knew that guy for a second that's all." I Lied quickly. My face turned red and I knew he thought I was lying. "Sure." He said. and smiled. Since then I always thought he knew I was kind of gay but didn't want to tell me.

A couple weeks went by and Elijah, Leah and I decided to go to my house since my family just put in a home theatre in my basement. We got to my house and went to the basement. I put in Batman: The Dark Knight and we watched it. Today has been the day I decided to tell Elijah that I was gay because ever since he caught me looking at that guys ass he been making gay jokes at me so I thought he knew. I asked Elijah to follow me to go get more popcorn from the kitchen upstairs and he agreed. "Hey dude I want to tell you something." I said starting to shake on the kitchen island while I waited for the popcorn to pop.

"What is it now Liam?" Elijah asked. "Well if I tell you, you have to promise me you'll keep it a secret. okay?" "What your gay? ahaha." "Well ... uhmm ... What if I was?" "HOLY SHIT DUDE, I KNEW IT!" "Well guessing by your enthusiasm I'm guessing you're okay with it?" "Well why won't I be I mean If I was your friend before this and you were gay, what's going to change now?" I hugged Elijah and thanked him for being there for me. "Any time Gemini, just don;t fall for me." Elijah said with a hint of laughter. "No worries there I said."

I quit hugging Elijah and looked out to my living room. I seen my little brother Isaac(14) just standing there looking shocked. "Uh, Did you just hear everything I said." I said to him hoping he didn't. "Uh, YEAH and I'm telling mom and dad that you're a fag." He said. Elijah jumped off the island and pinned him to the ground. "Now why are you going to just out your brother like that for? have you no heart?" Elijah asked him. My brother started to scream and Elijah got off of him. My mom and dad came downstairs and Leah came upstairs asking what happen. "Well your son yeah well your boy like boys." Isaac said. "Now Isaac that's not nice to say about your brother, there's no way he's a fag."

My dad said. "No dad he just came out to Jahjah (Elijah) I heard him." Isaac said. My Dad turned to Elijah and asked if it was true. Elijah looked at me and I nodded to him to tell them. I mean I always did plan on telling them. I guess now is better. "Well Dad (Elijah calls my dad dad cause we're just that close) Isaac was telling the truth." My Mom and Dad both just looked shocked. I started to cry a little bit and just put my head down.

"How come you never told us Liam?" My mom said. "You're A Fag? My son is a fag?" Is all my dad was saying. I could see he was getting mad cause vains was popping out his forehead. "I wanted to tell you but-" I said before I was interrupted. "But Nothing, You're A Fag! I don;t like fags so therefore I don;t like you." My dad said. "So what happen to unconditional love dad?" I asked. "I think It's time to go." Elijah said.

"Yeah and take your faggot friend with you. I don't want him here." my dad said. I just looked at him shocked. "Really Dad? you want me gone?" "Yeah Leave, I can't have a faggot under the same roof as me." My dad said. "Mom?" I said whimpering. "Sorry but I think it is best that you leave." My mom said. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "C'mon Gemini, lets just go to my house." Elijah said. I quickly followed him out the door and before I left my dad threw a heavy book at my head.

I closed the door behind me and I swear you could create a river with the tears I was creating. What have I done was all I was thinking to myself. When Elijah and I left the driveway I notice my bother throw a bag out my window and said "take your shit faggot." I went and picked up and bag and just broke down in tears. Elijah came and picked me up and just held me so close on the walk over to his house. We didn't say a word to eachother even though it was a 30 minutes walk. When we got to his front door he gave me a very long hug and whispered I'm sorry. I didn't know what he was apologizing for but I just hugged him back and cried a little more. He opened up the door and there was his brother and his mom on the couch.

"Oh my gosh what happen to Liam?" Ethan & His Mom both said. "Do you want me to tell them you you?" Elijah asked. "Can you tell them?" I said. "Well uhm, the Liam that you all know an love is here but the only difference is that he's... uh...he's gay. And he first came out to me but Isaac over heard and told his parents and they didn't like it so much." Elijah explained. Ethan and his mom came over to me and hugged me so tight I could've barely breath. all i could hear was Don't worry we're here for you, and we will always love you. "Yeah and his dad is like furious with him so he would need to stay here for a while." Elijah said. Elijah's mom agreed and ordered a pizza for dinner. I went upstairs to Ethan & Elijah's room. I layed down on Elijah's bed and drifted off to sleep.
