My German Lover : Part 13, chapter 2

(Part 4 from 4. Fiction.)

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that Mrs. Von Rundstedt: Please, excuse her...", Lutz answered, with a very sad look on his face...

"You should dump her, that's what I think!", Ludwig said...

"LUDWIG!!!", Will's mother shouted... "That's not nice to say..."

"What? But that's the truth: She's just a pain in the ass...", Ludwig added...

"LUDWIG!!! I told you: Stop that right now!", his mother said...

"Okay okay..."

Needless to say Will and Paul were trying their best not to break into a fit of giggles, while Lutz was looking at his shoes, blushing...

"I will have to talk to her... She has changed!", Lutz said...

"She has not changed one bit, Lutz. And that's the problem! It's just that now, you can see her for what she is: A bitch!", Ludwig said, laughing...

"LUDWIG!!! I'll have to walk you to your room...", his mother shouted again...

"...Yeah! Sure! And I'll be carrying you under my arm to my room, like a French bread...", Ludwig answered, laughing...

They all started to laugh, hearing Ludwig's joke. Even his mother was laughing...

"You know mum: He's now much bigger and much taller than you are... so if I were you, I wouldn't try to walk him to his room...", Will said to his mum, still laughing...

"Do you think I've not realized that, silly?", she replied, laughing too... "I just don't know what we're gonna do with that big boy... Come here, you, and give me a kiss", she said to Ludwig, laughing...

"Oh, and before I forget: I've called your mother Lutz, and I've invited your family for our Christmass Eve party, and your mum gladly accepted! And I've also called Klara's mother to invite tem..."

"And what did she say?", Lutz asked.

"She said she must consult with Klara first, and that she's going to call me back later..."

"She said that?", Lutz asked, a bit confused...

"Yes", she answered. And when she sensed Ludwig was about to crack one of his jokes, she looked at him and said to him:

"...Not a word, young man! It's not necessary..."

Ludwig closed his mouth and looked at Will and Paul, with a devilish grin on his face...

"Do you know what Paul: Can we exchange places?", Lutz very seriously asked him... "You could go and have a talk with Klara, and I would attend your party tomorrow: I would prefer to spend the evening with Hitler, even if I know that would be horrible... than have a discussion with Klara...".

"That bad, huh?", Will asked...

"Yeah! That bad!", Lutz seriously replied.

"Anyway Lutz, I'm not going to see Hitler, you know. It's Herr Funk who's throwing that party, not the Führer...", Paul answered, smiling...

Ludwig stared at Paul for a moment, then said to him:

"...But my poor Paul! They're throwing a Christmas party at the New Chancellery, and you believe the Führer won't be there? You're in for a big surprise my friend!"

Paul suddenly turned white and, looking at Will, he asked:

"Do you think he's going to be there?"

"...Well... I don't know for sure... But it's true that since they've decided to throw the party there... there's a chance the Führer will show up, at least for a few minutes... I mean... It's like if the americans were throwing a big party at the White House, and the President didn't show up!", Will cautiously answered, looking at the carpet...

"OH MY GOD!!! I don't want to see him! I hate him!... Sorry Mrs. Von Rundsteadt... I didn't mean to insult you...", Paul said.

"Oh don't worry: I don't like him either. And I think I would prefer to go see my dentist, and have two or three teeth removed, than to have to spend an evening with the Führer!", she answered, smiling...

"MOTHER!!!!", Will shouted... "That's not very cheering... We'll have to walk you to your room!"

"Better: I'll call the Gestapo!", Ludwig said, laughing...

They all started to laugh, Paul included!

"Well, thanks for telling me... I prefer to know in advance! But... yes Lutz... I would like to switch places with you: Just give me five minutes alone with Klara, and I'll settled her case... definitely!", Paul said...

"PAUL!!!", Will shouted!

"Oups! Sorry...", Paul answered, a bit embarrass...

And of course, again, Ludwig was laughing his heart out as he said to Paul:

"I like you Paul! I do like you man!"

"Anyway... I'll speak to her tomorrow! I just can't avoid it, can I?", Lutz stated...

"Well Lutz... You and I are going to have a hell of a day tomorrow! A hell of a day!, Paul replied.

"Shit, yeah!", Lutz answered.
