My German Lover Part 23, chapter 1

(Part 3 from 3. Fiction.)

"Like if I was about to go somewhere...", François answered, smiling to his friend...

"Yeah... Well, don't move!"

"I won't. Each time I move, it hurst!"

As he had said, Paul got to the Hospital that morning, and he sat down near his young friend's bed.

"What have they done to me?", François asked him...

"(...) Give me your hand, François... and look at me, straight in the eyes...", Paul slowly answered.

Then, Paul began to explain to François the nature of the wounds he had suffered... and the nature of the surgery performed on him...

François screamed, when he learned what the surgeon had done, in order to save his life...

"Scream, François! Scream all you can! You have the right to...", Paul said, holding his young friend's hand.

Later, when François had calmed down a bit, Paul told him all what the surgeon had explained to him the day before. Then, Ludwig sat on the bed and looked at his friend...

"... It's bad. It's terrible, I know. (...) But it could be worst! You could be dead! (...) You're alive... And at least, you still have your dick... and you haven't lost your capacity for sexual pleasure! I suppose you were not planing on getting married and on having chindren..."

"...Not really, I guess..."

"See? (...) And don't worry: Soon, you and I will have fun again, wanking..."

François began smiling at that thought. But after a while he said:

"...I don't want to go back to the village..."

"...You're not going back there...", Paul calmly said...

"...What am I going to do? Where can I go?"

"First, as soon as you are discharged from the Hospital, you're coming with us to our home... and you will stay with us... Don't worry François... We all love you, and we won't let you down! Count on me! (...) Later, when you're better... we'll talk about your future... But tell me: Do you like school?"

"...I loved school... and I had good marks... But then, I had to quit... My dad needed me on the farm, so..."

"When did you quit school?"

"Two years ago..."

"...Would you like to go back to school?"

"I'd love to... but... that's not possible..."

"Oh yes, it is! Believe me: It is!", Paul answered, grinning... "As I said, you get better... We'll have time to talk about that later..."

As the doctor had said, ten days later, François was discharged from the Hospital and went to Paul's mansion...

François couldn't believe his eyes! "A palace", he exclaimed, when he was shown around the mansion...

"...This is the bedroom you will share with Ludwig...", Paul explained to him, as he showed him a large and very nice bedroom with two beds in it...

"Why are you doing this for me?", François suddenly asked Paul...

"You're a fine young man, François! And I know how hard it is to be gay. I know how it feels to be rejected by one of our parents. Believe me: I know! (...) So... I'm going to help you my friend! Whether you like it or not, you're stuck with us!", Paul said, laughing...

"... Stuck with you? Hey... That's the best thing that has happened to me in a long, long time! Do you see me complain? (...) But I don't think my father will agree... He will want me back on the farm..."

"Oh, don't worry about that: I have a plan... Just trust me!"

Indeed, Paul had a plan...

A few days later, he met Mrs & Mr Dubois at the presbytery. The Vicar was present.

Paul explained to them he wanted François to go back to school, and that he was going to pay for it. François would stay with them in Paris, free of charge. Furthermore, Paul was ready to pay Mr Dubois the salary François used to bring back home each week, when working for him at Bagatelle... and he would do so for as long as Mr Dubois would agree to let François go in school in Paris...

Of course, Mr Dubois was too happy to agree!

He was embarrassed to have a gay son, and was too happy to think he would no longer have to tolerate that faggot around him anymore. Also, he would no longer have to feed him... and would continue to cash his pay check! What a deal, he tought...

Before he left, and while they were alone for a minute, Paul talked to Mrs Dubois... and it was agreed with her that, every Monday morning, before Mass, she would come to the presbytery where François would call her... That would be the only way to maintain contact between the two of them, since Mrs Dubois didn't know how to read, so of course, François couldn't write to her...

Hearing about the "deal" Paul had made with his father, François was ecstatic!

But now, François had to get use to his new life...

And Ludwig had to get use to the fact he was now sharing his bedroom with his friend! No more "privacy"! That wouldn't be easy... and both friends would have to find ways... to manage that problem!

Can we do that? That was the big question François had on his mind!

The answer to that question was not obvious, due to the circumstances... After all, François was gay... and Ludwig was not!

"I'll have to talk to him...", François thought to himself! "Problem is: I don't know what the hell I'm gonna say to him..."
