(Part 1 from 1. Fiction.)

Sorry, took my own sweet time churning out the story from my brain. Exams and other problems kept me busy…… Enjoy and please give honest reviews.

“Thank you.” he said to the lady behind the counter after purchasing the books to read.
“Mills and Boon, Erich Sehgal…” Ayaan heard someone in his ear. He saw James again standing next to him and taking a peek into the names of authors of the 6 books he’d purchased.
“You read all those or are they just to impress your girlfriend?” James asked.

“Is it just a coincidence that we are bumping into each other so many times? Anyways I don’t have a girlfriend so it means I’m actually fond of books and love stories at that.” Ayaan replied with a smile.
“Good. Besides they are always a pain in the…. Well, you know.” he said smiling very cheekily.
“Your girl would kill you for that statement.” Ayaan replied.
“I don’t have one either. Besides I’m gay” James said.
“I don’t believe you. You don’t ever find perfect men seeking men ya know.” Ayaan said. But he was actually shocked to hear somebody so open about his sexuality.
“Honestly. I don’t lie. Especially to people I like.” He said.
“Thanks for liking me Mr. White.” Ayaan said.
“I’d prefer you to call me James, Mr. Humble.” James said.

Ayaan smiled. James steered him to the waiting room. And the sat there talking to each other for the next 2 hrs and the books lay forgotten in the chair between them. Ayaan had placed it there so that he didn’t get too close to the Adonis and to give himself any hope for a bonding or relationship. He told James about the interview and how he really needed it. It turned out that James was staying close to THE PENCHANT. In the meanwhile, another man came and sat next to James but was not noticed by either of the two. After promising to meet him on board, Ayaan left to board the flight. James got up to leave too when the guy next to him said “You really seem to be smitten by that guy”.

“Harry. When’d u come? I didn’t notice. Come on lets go or we’ll miss this flight too.” James said pulling Harry to his feet.
“You were really busy talking to that guy. He is weird. I mean which guy probably in his late teens would read book on romance.” Harry said.
“How does it matter. He is a great guy to be with.” replied James in a tone which ended the discussion.

After boarding the plane and settling himself, Ayaan took out his CV to go through once again and prepared and praying silently that he got the job. The same grumpy fellow came and sat next to him and started complaining in a hushed tone too low to understand but more irritating to Ayaan. He again prayed that this guy moves to some other place.

His wish came true with a golden touch to it when a stewardess guided James towards the seat and asked the grumpy man to move to the seat behind them. Suddenly Harry plunged in taking the seat next to Ayaan and showed his ticket to James and said “My place dude. You sit back”.
“Stop being a jerk dude. You were talking happily to that guy in the terminal and he really hates me so you sit behind and I will sit with Ayaan darling.” James said and pulled Harry to his feet and took his seat.
“That’s Harry my best friend.” James said to Ayaan.

Ayaan turned to introduce himself and smiled at Harry. And after some time he turned back to offer Harry some cookies when he noticed that the grumpy person got along really well with Harry. But the scowl remained on his face.
“Looks like his mother washed his faced with glue when he was angry. The scowl remains pasted on his face even when Harry jokes around.” Ayaan told James.
“What did you mean when you said Koti manoj lajanarey? I hope you weren’t swearing.” James enquired.

“It’s Koti Manoj Lajaavaniharey. It’s Sanskrit. Manoj is the name of indian god of beauty and lust. He is supposed to be so handsome that anyone would fall in love with him at the first sight. Koti means a hundred millions and Lajaavaniharey means put to shame. So basically I meant that you put a hundred million Manoj to shame with your beauty. It’s a compliment and I’d be honoured if you accept it.” Ayaan said answering his query.
“Thank you.” James blushed into a red deeper than his lips.
“A man who can blush, wow.” Ayaan said.

Suddenly he was kissed on his lips by James. Something he’d remember forever.
After what seemed like eternity he moved back apologising. A woman had tripped pushing James onto Ayaan. James had taken full chance of the opportunity.
“It’s ok. I liked it.” Ayaan said. “I’m gay too and besides anyone would want you to kiss them.”

James was now happy that his plans were finally starting to work.
Wondering what plans? Wait for the next chapter.
