The Truth about Love Songs : Chapter 3

(Part 2 from 2. Fiction.)

The drive home was one of the worst experience of Lucas' life. No one had said a word. Lucas wished he could go back to Tyler’s place but he knew he had to face his family at some point. He began to think about what he was going to do when he reached home. If his mother or father was going to give him any shit he was going to pack his stuff and leave. He knew Tyler could, maybe, put him up for a few days and after that he would work something out. He wasn’t going to give them the oppotunity to kick him out. Then Lucas’ mind wondered back to a few hours ago when he was in Tyler’s arms. He remembered what it was like to have his big cock in his mouth and the taste of his cum sliding down his throat. His dick twitched as the memories came flooding back. It was Charlie that brought him back to the present.
“We’re here” he said nudging him.
George was already out of the car and at the front door by the time Lucas stepped out of the car. Lucas and Charlie walked together as they approached their waiting father. “How did you know where I was?” He asked Charlie before they reached the door.
“It wasn’t hard to figure out”
When Lucas entered the house his younger twin sisters, Millie and Mya, who both had devious smiles on their faces, greeted him.
“So we hear you like to take it up the…” Mya started
“Don’t you dare finish that sentence young lady” George yelled “Up to your room, both of you”
Without argument both girls ran up to their rooms, giggling all the way. Lucas could hear them talking about him as they slammed their door shut. Paying no attention to his sister’s taunts, he followed his father into the kitchen, where he saw his mother sitting at the kitchen table biting her nails. She looked distraught, like she was waiting to hear if they had found Lucas’ body in a gutter or something. When he entered the room she stood up and a tear fell from her eye.
“Where have you been?” she yelled with a shaky voice. She almost looked too weak to hold herself up. She looked like she had aged ten years since Lucas had last spoken to her.
Lucas frowned at her “I didn’t think you gave a fuck about me anymore”
“Don’t you dare talk to me like that” she shouted holding on tight to the table.
Lucas put his head down, feeling embarrassed at being so rude. “Sorry” he mumbled. He looked up at his mother and saw her tears flowing freely. He wanted to give her a big hug but his mind kept going back to that night when she looked at him with such disgust. He felt the pain of that moment in his heart; his eyes started to mist over.
“Sit down” she continued as she returned to her own seat.
Lucas walked over to where she was sitting and pulled out the chair next to her. His father was leaning against the cabinet. He had a look of optimism on his face. He smiled supportively at his wife and then at Lucas. No one said a word
Lucas sat staring out of the window while his mother played with her wedding ring, which spun freely on her slim finger. His father stood, staring at the floor like there was something fascinating on it. For five minutes there was a painful silence in the room. Lucas wished this torture were over. He turned to his mother hoping she would start, but she said nothing and he returned to looking out of the window. He wondered what she was thinking. If she called him here just to have a go at him or if she was going to say sorry.
Lucas’ relationship with his mother was typical of most teenage boys. They were very close to each other when he was younger, then he hit puberty and everything changed. Lucas became very distant. He was always hanging out with his friends, coming home all hours and had hundreds of girls calling the house. Lilly, Lucas’ mum, took his whole adolescent experience in her stride. She had been through all of this with Bill and as Charlie was only a year younger than Lucas was; she knew she would have it twice as hard. Lucas’ mother was always the strong one. If there were any punishment to be handed out, it would always be done by her. It was always his father that was the push over.
Lucas turned to look at him as he thought back to all the shit he got away with when was younger. Over the past four weeks, ever since he and Tyler had hooked up, he thought a lot about how his parents might react when he came out. He knew that his father might be cool; it was his mother that he wasn’t sure about and judging from the situation now, he was right to worry. She continued to nervously play with her fingers when Sam came running in closely followed by Matthew.
“Mum mum he’s hitting me” Sam screamed as he flung his arms around her neck.
“Mum he keeps touching my stuff” Matthew shouted
“Both of you stop,” she shouted rising from the table and letting Sam arms fall to the side “It’s way pass both of your bedtimes. Now up stairs and don’t let me hear another word from either of you or there’ll be trouble, do you understand?”
Both boys nodded silently. They both knew not to push their mother. They left and went to their room, which they shared.
Lilly turned back to Lucas and started “I shouldn’t have acted like that, I’m sorry”. Lucas lowered his head and didn’t say a word. “I was hurt that you lied to us”
“I didn’t lie” Lucas said sounding defensive.
“Well you wasn’t honest was you, sneaking around with that boy Thomas…”
“Tyler”
“…And what are we meant to think. You come home all hours of the night, locking yourself in your room all the time. And to think we let that boy in our house”.
“I’m not even listening to this” Lucas said getting up to walk away. “How can you be so ignorant right now? Wasn’t it you who always taught us not to judge people, not to discriminate? Or was that just for non-members of your family?”
“Don’t speak to me like that”
“Why not? It’s clear I disgust you and you don’t care about me. Well don’t worry I’ll get the fuck out of here so you wont ever have to see me again” Lucas shouted, tears now rolling down his cheeks.
“I do care Lucas, I shouldn’t have said that I’m sorry. It’s just with all that’s going on, it’s all getting to be a bit much, what with Bill and that girl, Matthew fighting in school and don’t get me started on the twins and now there’s you. I just can’t…” Lilly’s words trailed off as she collapsed back on her chair. She began to sob uncontrollably. George walked up and threw his arms around her. “It’s alright Lilly, please don’t cry, you know I hate it when you cry”. He turned to Lucas and said in a clear, confident voice that Lucas had never heard before, “Lucas your mother doesn’t hate you, she loves you very much and so do I. You’ve got to understand that after nineteen years you don’t expect your son to tell you he’s gay. We’re not mad we’re just confused, we never saw this coming. I mean you have been dating girls since you were thirteen, why would we think anything other than you were straight?”
“So, does that give you the right to turn your back on me when I need you the most.” Lucas yelled
“We were wrong Lucas and we’re sorry. You’re still our son and we love you very much no matter what. We acted without thinking. We should never have walked away like that.”
Lucas felt even more tears fall from his eyes has the words he wanted to hear came from his father mouth. He walked back to his chair and sat down.
“Lucas, my boy” Lilly said through her tears “Please forgive us”. She began wiping the tears from her face. She reached out her hand and Lucas took it. He smiled at his mother warmly.
“I should have told you, I know, I’m sorry” Lucas started “I was still working things out in my own head” He got up and hugged his mother and she began to cry again.
“I think we should save the rest of this conversation for the morning. You’re both tired and emotional. We all need to get some sleep” George said pulling his wife gently from Lucas’ arms.
Lucas kissed his mother and walked out the kitchen with a releaved smile on his face. He was happy with the way thing went. He ran up the stairs and into his room. He pulled his mobile from his pocket and pressed a few buttons. The phone only rang once before the soft silky tones of Tyler was on the other end
“Hello”
“Hi”
“Hey, how did it go?”
“Good, I mean we haven’t talked about everything yet out but they said that they don’t hate me and that they still love me, which is all I really wanted to hear.”
“So you ok?”
“I’m am now”
“Good. So does this mean we can be seen together by everyone?”
Lucas laughed softly “Slow down, I’ve only just told my family”
“Yeah but I don’t want to sneak around anymore Luc. We were only meant to be keeping it quiet until you told your family, well now they know. I want to introduce you to all my friends. I want to be seen out with you by everyone and I want them to know that we’re together.”
“I know. You’ve been really patient with me and I’m grateful for that.” He paused for a moment “I guest now that things are out in the open with my family, there’s nothing more to be scared off”.
“Does that mean you’ll come to Scott’s house party with me on Friday night?” Tyler said with a little giggle.
“Yes” Responded Lucas hearing the playfulness in Tyler’s voice.
“And does that mean that I can kiss you in front of everyone?”
“I wouldn’t want it any other way” Lucas said feeling the butterflies in his stomach at Tyler’s words.
It didn’t cross his mind that Tyler might want to introduce him to his friends. For the pass four weeks at had just been them two. In collage they never really spoke to each other much, “so people wouldn’t be able to work out what’s going on with us” was Lucas’ reasoning, (not that anyone would think anything was going on considering Tyler was meant to tutoring Lucas) but Tyler agreed and spent most of his day with his friends and Lucas spent most of his days watching him, wishing he was hanging with him. He thought about Tyler’s friends for a minute. They were all popular (with Tyler being the most popular), smart and talented people. Lucas was sure he wasn’t going to fit in. “Why couldn’t it just be the two of them?” Lucas thought to himself. Lucas snapped back to reality when he heard Tyler’s voice grow louder
“Are you there still?”
“What… oh yeah sorry”
“What are you thinking about?”
Lucas didn’t want to let on to Tyler that he was nervous about meeting his friends so he said “Just you. Why don’t I come over tonight. I’ll wait until everyone’s asleep and then come. What do you say?”
“Oh, and what are you going to do when you get here” Tyler said playfully.
“Well…” Lucas started getting more comfortable “ I was thinking I could undo your jeans, take out your cock and put it in my mouth and suck you while you finger fuck me”
“Mmmm, then what” Tyler said lifting his hips slightly and pulling down his jeans to his knees. He hadn't put his boxers back from earlier on so his 9 1/2 -inch cock, which was fully erect, stood freely and at full attention. He began to stroke it slowly as Lucas continued.
“Then I would lift my legs in the air and let you fuck my arse with your tongue. I would let you stick it right in so you could fuck me with it. When my hole is nice and loose, I would roll over and let you fuck the shit out me with your big hard juicy cock” said Lucas, his own hands now in his boxers, rubbing his cock.
“Is that want you want? To feel my hard cock in your ass, plowing into you over and over again till all your cum comes shooting out everywhere” Tyler breathed down the phone
“Yeah that’s want I want” Lucas replied, now becoming a little short of breath and rubbing his dick a little faster. “I want to feel your cock in me I want lick…” Lucas stopped suddenly as there was a knock at his door. “Fuck” he said dropping the phone and pulling up his jeans over his cock, which went limp instantly “Who is it?” He shouted irritated and frustrated.
“Lucas it me, I just wanted to make sure you are alright”
“I’m fine mum”
“And you’re not mad at me”
Lucas picked up his phone “Hello Ty, you still there”
“Yeah what the fuck happen there, I was just getting into to that” he said with a little laugh
“Lucas are you still mad at me” Lilly continued
“My mum’s at the door…” he whispered to Tyler
“Lucas” She shouted banging on the door
“…Give me a minute Tyler” He held the phone away from his ear,
“Lucas, please answer me” She pleaded.
“Mum we’re fine. I’m not mad at you. Look I’m tired and need to sleep, I have collage in the morning, I’ll talk to you then ok” He heard her sigh and then walk away.
With a large sigh he put the phone back to his ear “She gone. So where were we”
“I think you was getting the shit fucked out of you…” Tyler said smoothly.
“Lucas, can I stay with you tonight?” Came a small voice from behind his door.
“I don’t believe this” Lucas said covering his eyes with his hand.
“What?” said Tyler sounding confused
“Sam’s at the door now, he wants to sleep in my room tonight. It like Piccadilly fucking circus in here”
“Where?”
“Never mind”
“Lucas are you sleeping” Sam called softly
“Just give me a minute Ty and I’ll get rid of him”
“Look don’t worry about, It’s clear you were well missed there. I’ll see you tomorrow”
“No no, wait I’ll get rid of him just give me a second”
“Lucas” Sam said a little louder
“He’s only seven and you’re his big brother, just let him stay. It’s ok, I’m not going anywhere Lucas. It’s you and me now” Tyler yawned.
“LUCAS” Shouted Sam now annoyingly kicking the door and trying the handle.
“I’m coming Sam, just wait” Lucas yelled back “Are you sure?” he said, returning his attention back to his phone.
“Of course, Goodnight Lucas” and with that Tyler hung up. Lucas sat on his bed with a mixture of emotions coursing through his body. He was happy, yet a little sad. He wanted to be there with him now. He heart ached for him and longed to be held by him. The more time he spent with Tyler talking and such, the harder it was to say goodbye to him at the end of the night. He also felt frustrated and irritated. He was tired and hungry, which didn’t dawn on him until now.
“Lucas, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee” Sam continued, still kicking at the door.
Lucas took a deep breath and stood up. He zipped up his jeans and looked around making sure the bed didn’t show any evidence of what his was doing a few minutes ago, then he made his way over to the door. “Stop it” he yelled as he opened it. “You can be such a pain sometimes”
Sam put his head down and looked as though his was going to cry. “I’m sorry Lucas,” he said in the sweetest voice Lucas had ever heard.
Sam always loved being with Lucas, ever since he was born, and Lucas, even though he would never admit it, loved how much Sam looked up to him. They were very close, most of the time. “Don’t pull that face, just get in” Lucas said, knowing full well that Sam could always get the better of him. Sam’s face changed instantly to a big smile. He ran into Lucas’ room and jumped on the bed and straight under the covers. Lucas stood at the door for a minute, thinking about Tyler. He really wished he was there right now.
“Lucas, read me a story” Sam said getting comfortable
“No, now go to sleep” He replied closing the door and turning off the light.
